Based in Reedsville, Pennsylvania (Central PA), Cignal is a growing tech startup that builds software for trustworthy machine vision artificial intelligence (AI).

We've created the Cignal Engine, a world designed for how machines see. In this environment, AI vision models can be exercised and tested before they're deployed in the real world.

Unlike other types of engines, the Cignal Engine works outside of the visible spectrum – in X-ray, X-ray CT, and millimeter wave. We use our engine to test how well transportation security AI models detect firearms, explosives, narcotics, and other dangerous items on people and in baggage and cargo.
